MARIS – Scarab

Maris is a cutting edge developer and manufacturer for a variety of high-end, miniatures and features enriched System-On-Module (SOM) solutions based on high-end System-On-Chip (SOC) platforms.

The company client’s portfolio includes a few of the biggest names in the industry such as Elta, Elbit and Lockheed Martin.

Maris came to FIT in need of developing a high end, professional product, which could withstand extreme conditions, based on their top of the line hardware and software solutions. The scarab is intended for use in drones and unmanned vehicles and should be IP69 certified.

The SCARAB was designed especially for harsh conditions where extreme conditions exist. Featuring stealth black anodized, aerospace grade aluminum, for heat defusing, “tough” shaping and mechanical design that could deliver what the shape promises.
